What Sales Funnel?

Today we’re going to talk about sales funnels. While I know you’re aware of what they are, you might not know what they are in terms of a design business. I don’t blame you because it can all be a bit confusing!

I’ve done a lot of research with marketing people. By gathering their ideas and studies of sales funnels, I’ve learned how to apply them to a design business. Our type of business is different than others because there are different progressions for taking the client from start to finish.

I want to share with you what makes a great sales funnel and what we use at Interior Design Business Academy. It all starts with your outreach. How do you reach out to people, let them know who you are and what you can do? This piece involves your website, social media, referral partners, newsletter, and networking efforts. It’s whatever you utilize to reach out and create leads for your business.

One of the most essential parts of doing this is that the message is consistent in every single one of those places. This involves knowing who your ideal client is, who you want to work for, and the problem you can solve for them. You will also want to make sure you are communicating how they can start working with you.
